Hi, we are Terry and Suzy. We met in 2011 while working together as nurses at a local hospital. The whole nursing team knew that Terry had a crush on Suzy. When we finally went out, we had a great time together. Our relationship grew as we continued to build memories over the next couple of years. Some of our favorite memories while dating were go-karting, driving to the middle of nowhere to watch a meteor shower, and going on a medical mission trip to Peru. We knew that one day we wanted to build a life together and in August of 2014 we married.

Suzy is the wife of my dreams. From the moment I met her, I knew she was a silly, loving, caring and smart woman. She grew up in a loving home, here in Colorado, along with her older brother and younger sister. She graduated from Pensacola Christian College and was working as a medical/surgical nurse. As I got to know Suzy, I realized her generosity to others, and how hard she had worked to be a testimony of Christ. Terry is one of those people who is everyone’s favorite. He loves to joke with others and is always making someone laugh. He often sends me texts just to make me smile and to brighten my day.

He loves to be goofy and have fun. On his days off, Terry often plans outings to go to arcades, but he also enjoys quiet activities like fishing. He has a small pontoon boat that he enjoys using in local reservoirs.

We live in a comfortable and modest three-bedroom, single-family home on a quiet cul-de-sac in a suburb of Denver. We love our family-friendly neighborhood. There are many nice walking paths and a wonderful park near our home. The neighbors are kind and warm. There are many young families nearby.

The interior of our home is very bright, with many windows and an open layout. Suzy loves to decorate colorfully for the different holidays, which makes it a very warm, inviting space. Terry enjoys the basement space and...

Our families are excited for us as we begin our adoption journey once more.

Suzy grew up in the Denver metro area and her parents and siblings all live close by. We love to get together throughout the year and enjoy being able to share holiday traditions together. Suzy’s brother and sister-in-law live less than 10 minutes from our home.

We love to go on adventures together and explore new places. Each year in the fall, we take a family trip somewhere and just enjoy relaxing and doing fun local activities.

We each have our own interests, but also participate together in one another’s interests. Terry loves to fish and we are often found out on our little pontoon boat during the summers, grilling and fishing. Terry loves to go to arcades, so on his days off that’s where he can be found, saving up points for big prizes.

Our son Liam joined our family through adoption Easter morning in April of 2021. We feel very blessed that his birth parents chose us to be his mother and father. We share an open adoption with his birth family, and enjoy sharing photos and updates as he grows and learns.

Liam brightens everyone's day. He is extremely social and outgoing and loves to be around his friends and other people. Liam also loves animals, especially dogs. Rain or shine, he loves to be outside running with our dog, Molly.
